Scenic Rim Regional Council is inviting local growers in the Teviot and Warrill catchments to take part in a short Water for Economic Development Survey to help inform future water planning and agricultural investment across the region.

Agriculture is a cornerstone of the Scenic Rim economy, and Council is actively advocating for water solutions that support farm productivity, value‑adding and local jobs.

The survey will gather confidential, on‑the‑ground information from growers about current production, water sources, future demand and growth opportunities.

The results will support Council’s submissions to the Queensland Government, including the SEQ Agricultural Regional Water Assessment and the Logan Basin Water Plan Review, and will help guide future infrastructure and economic development decisions aligned with Council’s Economic Development Strategy.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete, and responses will be reported only in summary form.

Grower participation is essential to ensuring future water and economic planning reflects real local needs.

Eligible growers are encouraged to take part and have their say on the future of agriculture in the Scenic Rim.
